Compass

A Topsham (just on the outskirts of Exeter City) landscaping project saw the Seriously Good Landscapes team transform a sloping lawned area into a giant compass with a water feature as the centre piece. It just so happened that the house pointed precisely south east so when we came to align the vegetable planters each one pointed exactly either North, East, South or West. This trick was too good to miss.

We had intended on using sleepers to construct the planters but in the ground works we uncovered an old soak-away that had a huge number of old flagstones & bricks. It was decided that they were to be reused to create the structure for the water feature and vegetable patch planters.

How much did this cost? ~£22,000
